PASSIVE BEHAVIOR CAN BE KILLING YOUR DREAMS by Dr. Elsie Sanchez

No matter where we go, we will always find humans who are shy and prudent, but did you know that many people lose a great deal because of their passiveness and timidity?

Many of us have left something desirable behind because we did not dared talk at the right moment. Later on in life, we regret it- perhaps it was pretty RED DRESS you liked, but others did not, an expensive car you dreamed of; did not buy, so you had five cars and ended with a different one just because you did not speak up.

Speaking up is necessary; Ecclesiastes 3 talks about it, but many of us because of the ways we grew up, we are not used to do so. Speaking up is not disrespectful, it is not rude- speaking up gives us power and it gives us the opportunity to share who we are and what we think. When we vote on election day we are speaking up, but how important is to speak up when we see injustice and when we experience abuse. Putting up with negative behavior whether is in church, at work or at home is not acceptable. Your blessings may have been stopped because you did not speak up. I dare you to dream up, speak up and grab what is yours. I dare you to change your ways and to embrace victory.
