Embrace New Challenges

Have you ever wander about what has hindered any goal you may had in the past or hindered any decision or relationship you previously had?

Do you wish you can turn the clock back and do things differently?

Honestly, turning the clock back is not that difficult. If you can challenge yourself today, and decide to revisit that moment. Can you write down the challenges you had at the moment? If so, then let's turn the clock back. Think of the moment, and of the action you took that ruined your goal or the relationship. Something easy is that everyone has a cell phone today- you can text, email, call, etc. So recognizing the action and addressing it with the person you had an interaction with at the moment, can release the guilt and give you a sense of accomplishment. Owning your victories and flaws makes us feel better than a king.

When Jesus was arrested, Peter got the sword out and cut off the ear of a soldier. Immediately Jesus healed the soldier by putting the ear back. Jesus needed that soldier to do his job without interruptions while displaying his identity before everyone there: he was a healer, a forgiver, a lover and someone who cared for others. I also think Jess needed that man to be present during his trial and during the torture he underwent. That soldier was part of a team who needed to do a job- and Jesus needed to submit himself to that soldier and the others at the time.

In Luke 9:51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem. Jesus knew what he was facing, he knew what was to come, but he embraced it because he knew that without going through his desert, he was not going to inherit the Kingdom of heaven.

So do not regret any more your wrong doings; instead, embrace new challenges and take risk knowing that there is so much ahead you can achieve if you dare do so, or perhaps, there is so much you may not achieve because you did not turn the clock to obtain braveness.

Turn the clock back- look at the moment you regret and tell yourself- it will not happen again. I do not accept it. I will move forward nd embrace knew challenges. Speak up! That is all you have!
